where is everybody
Published 1 year, 1 month ago in My life.where has everybody gone. i hate to agree with dr fell. doesnt everyone. but nook seems to be becoming a notice board for bible thumpers and council bashers. wheres the humour gone. apart for viva the regular nookers seemed to have given up.
anyway heres a pinup for shad. not sure if its a boy or a girl but guess it doesnt matter much if youre a dog.

I’m still around! Just because I’m busy with both uni and work, it doesn’t mean I can’t have a peek at nook every once in a while.
Curse real life and it’s obligations!! I’m sure we’d all much rather sit at the computer all day long, discussing our lives.
Me too - real life seems to have a way of dragging you off the computer and punishing you mercilessly (sorry mercy!) if you ignore it for too long.
Seems we are all quiet at the same time though which makes nook a bit too quiet too.
Has the resident nurse, Mercy, had any Councillors in to tend their sore heads after being battered by a little old lady with her umbrella?.
If you’re not interested in Council Business, just don’t stress yourself by going there. Even the site with the prayer probably meets a need in some one, just not me.
Myself, I enjoy many of the site which reflect humor and the deeper issues in life and respond accordingly. My grandchildren don’t know that I “bash” Councils, to turn your phrase. If we just laugh life away and don’t address the serious issues, it explains why there is no Iraq war on Channels 7, 9 & 10….People are dying in their thousands and yet Paris Hilton or Mr Rudd’s 4 year old indiscretions make NEWS.
Horses for courses, my friend….
I know, I know… I’m not on Nook as much as I used to be. It’s “Assignment Week” at uni.

ooo thats a cute puppy, shadow seems to be missing too though maybe the pic will tempt him back.
Have we run out of subjects to discuss I’ve wondered lately ‘cos the days of posts with 20, 30 or more comments and that seem to go off on tangents ‘ bout life, the universe, words, hair colours, sizes of willies etc seem to have gone.
At this stage I intend to keep posting even though Nook has been annoying me of late and even if I’m probably just talking crap a lot of the time
As for the Bills & Marys of this site, good on them. Even if there post aren’t always of interest to me I admire their dedication to their topics and they’ve have promoted some good discussions at times.
Anyway nice to see you’re still here mercy (& dave).
Im Back. I had a bit of a cold, which turned into alot of a cold. I got a little blue, but not depressed(almost lost my giggles). And I had a holiday, where I potted around the house. Im now feeling good so Im back up posting.
Thanks mercy, what a tonic you provided.
A little !@#$%^& re lack of communication on the exhibiton front, particulary as i have 16 large pieces of art just sitting somewhere at the leader…
taa again.

Where is everybody? Life was not meant to be easy! Remember that quotable quote? But then we are supposed to be a Village. So, we need a church, a civic centre and a market. we have the making of the first two. I know what we are missing, the market. We need to meet to put out our wares (not just willies) onto the market twice per week (say Tuesday and Friday) and bargain.
I could be a juggler and try to entertain you with the 3 card trick.
And what would you do on the market day, Nookers?
I’m back too. My mum has been in hospital for 3 months and we nearly lost her. She’s home now so hopefully life can get back to a little normality. But like the others I havent posted but I have logged on for a quick read and left a couple of replies.
that’s much better. i wasnt criticising anyone. just wondered why it was so quiet.
sorry to hear about you mum sky. i wish i could offer some real help but im only a virtual nurse so all i can do is send my best wishes and hope she gets well soon.
